B. The right side of the equation should be 8 after subtracting -8 from each side.

The answer is D.
Step by step explanation:
A negative times a negative is ALWAYS a positive. So -r * -4 = + 4r. Therefore, the correct solution to this equation is r = 6

Answer is D
A negative times a negative is always a positive. For example, a -4 times -r is +4r.
