y=2x-8

Explanation:

change in y\x

we only have one change in y\x so we take unknowns of y and x

hence:

(2,4) and (x,y)

still use change in y\x

y--4\x-2=2\1

hence:

you cross multiply

y+4=2x-4=

y=2x-8

that is the equation
