Erik used 16 centimeters of tape to wrap 2 presents. Then, he used an additional 24 centimeters of tape to wrap another 3 presents. How many centimeters of tape does Erik use to wrap each present?

Explanation:

16 centimeters can wrap 2 presents.
24 centimeters can wrap 3 presents.
Add both amounts of tape together to find the total amount of tape used. Then add the number of presents wrapped together.
