what is the equation of the function: vertical shrink by a factor of 1/3 and translated 4 units left, then translated 5 units up

Answer:

g(x, y) = 1 / 3 f(x, y)

Function g will be 1/3 of function x

g(x, y) = 1 / 3 f(x - 4, y + 5)

Function g is now shifted to the left by 4 units and 5 units up

That is x = 5 and y = 6 is now x' = 1 and y' = 11
