Answer:

a) The Pueblo people of the Southwest adapted to their environment by building their cities into mountainsides.

b) The Iroquois people of the North East woodlands built large long-houses where the entire tribe would live.

c) Near the colony of Jamestown, tribes in the region wisely trapped colonists into a large swamp, attacking any settler who left their walls. This swamp gave many settlers malaria.
