Answer:

using the formula

x/a + y/b =1(a= intercept on x axis; b= intercept on y axis)

x/-2 + y/6 =1

-1/2x + y/6 =1

multiply both sides by the l.c.m(6)

6(-1/2x +1/6y) =1x6

-3x +y =6

y = 3x +6(equation of the line)
