Answer:

-(10)/(12)

Explanation:

First things first when adding or subtracting fractions you need to have a common denominator. In order to have a common denominator we need to find a common factor.

(15)/(4) +(-4 (1)/(3))=

(45)/(12) +(-4(4)/(12) )

When "adding" a negative and a positive you will actually subtract. So you are basically just subtracting here.

(45)/(12) +(-4(4)/(12) )=

(45)/(12) -4(4)/(12)

Lets first convert our mixed number into an improper fraction.

(45)/(12) -4(4)/(12)=

(45)/(12) -(52)/(12)

Now just subtract.

(45)/(12) -(52)/(12)=

-(10)/(12)

Good luck! You got this!

I can explain in more detail if you want! Just let me know!
