It does not matter if I agree or disagree, because my voice is not actually heard in this society.

I work in the juvenile system and everyone has a right that states - innocent until proven guilty.

The one thing I find hard to understand is when people are acquitted of a crime, but not shown to be not guilty - just not proven with facts that he/she is guilty.

acquitted does not mean not guilty

it means it cannot be proven

To draw this out with some ideas you could write about -

does everyone need to have the opportunity for another chance after screwing up?

Our system is filled with 2 types of characters: those who steal, rob, threaten, and take advantage of those who have something that you want

The other side is the mental health issues with prisoners. What do you do with a prisoner who is mentally ill?

There are also the attempted murderers and those who commit murder.

Should they also get another chance? Can they change?
