Explanation:

Given:-

18x + 3y = 15

To find:-

the value of y = ?

Solution:-

Given equation,

18x + 3y = 15

=> 18x = 15 - 3y

=> x = (15x - 3y)/18

Now we can find the original value of y to gain x value.

18x + 3y = 15

=> [18(15 - 3y)/18] + 3y = 15

=> [(270 - 54y)/18 ]+ 3y = 15

=> (270 - 54y + 54y)/18 = 15

=> (270 - 0)/18 = 15

=> 270/18 = 15

=> 270 = 15(18)

=> 270 = 270

I believe correct answer is x = (15x - 3y)/18.

Hope this helps!!

Answer:

18x + 3y = 15 \\ 3y = 15 - 18x \\ \\ y = (15 - 18x)/(3) \\ \\ \\ y = (15)/(3) - (18x)/(3) \\ \\ y = 5 - 6x

I hope I helped you^_^
