y = - {x}^(2) + 4x + 3 \\ x = - (b)/(2a) \\ x = - (4)/(2( - 1)) \\ x = 2 \\ y = f(2) = 4(2) - {(2)}^(2) + 3 \\ y = 7 \\ \therefore \: maximum \: at \binom{2}{7}
