Kinetic energy(KE) = 1/2 • mass • (velocity)^2
Potential energy (PE)= mass• gravitational acceleration • hight
KE depends on the velocity and PE on the hight.
The picture is not clear so I will assume that at point (A) the velocity = 0
So there is no KE , all the energy in the PE form
At point (B), the hight is not = 0 so there is PE. Also the object will have a velocity so there is KE
