We can se that the first shape is smaller than the second shape,if we check the side lengths you can see all the numbers are times 3 e.g 5 x3 is 15 and 8 x 3 is 24.See how the other one 33?Thats K the missing length,since the second shape says it is 33 that means that means k x 3 = 33. 11 times 3 is 33,so k is 11.
