Explanation:

(2x - 3) + 8x = 180 (linear pairs)

10x - 3 = 180

10x = 180 + 3

10x = 183

x = 183÷10

x = 18.3

1 = 2x - 3

2 × 18.3 - 3

= 33.6

2 = 8x

8 × 18.3

146.4

Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 180

33.6. + 146.4. = 180
