Nancy needs to board her dog. Doggy care will take the dog for the initial fee of $5.00 and then $0.75 per hour. Dogs ate us will take the dog for an inroad fee of $3.00 and then $0.95 per hour. For how many hours is the cost of dog care the same for both places?

Answer: 10 hours

Explanation:
These equations intercept at (10,12.5)

The equation for doggy care is f(x) = 0.75x+5
The equation for Dogs are Us is f(x) = 0.95x +3

The best thing do is to graph these then to make a table for both and then see when there’s a point on both tables that are the same
