Answer:

The United States of America is a Democratic Republic. It is made of 50 states that have their own governments, but the whole country functions under a federal government. The United States of America is governed by a president, who can be replaced by a vice president if the president is unable to be president. The Speaker of the House of Commons will become the vice president if the current president is replaced by the vice president. States are also ruled by governors, mayors, and each state is represented by at least two senators. America has a constitution, which consists of a Preamble, 7 articles, and 27 amendments, in which the first ten are considered the Bill of Rights. The constitution can be changed, but has only had seventeen amendments added in over 200 years. America is also known to be the first country that had a president and was a democratic republic, as most other countries when the United States was formed functioned under a king. America also has the strongest military in the world, and has one of the strongest economies in the world. America used to be thirteen states which were ruled as colonies by England. The United States gained independence from England on July 4, 1776. American's celebrate July 4 as independence day with fireworks and family gatherings. The United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area, the world's third most populous country in the world, and the 25th most democratic country in the world.
