Please help !

(Explain whether each following example is proportional or non-proportional. Please state whether it is proportional or non-proportional AND explain how you know. You will not get full credit for correct answers without an explanation.)

⦁ Is this equation proportional or non-proportional? How do you know?
equation: y = 7x -3

⦁ Is the graph below proportional or non-proportional? How do you know? (look at the attachment for the graph btw.)

Please help ! (Explain whether each following example is proportional or non-proportional-example-1

No it is not proportional. The equation has the -3 making it not proportional. The line also does not pass through the origin even though it’s a straight line. If it helps, you could also use slope to help find out if it’s proportional or not.

Answer:

I think this is not proportional.

Explanation:

If the graph of a courting is a line or a ray thru the origin, then it's far proportional. If it's far a line or ray that doesn't go thru the origin, then it isn't always proportional.

Or if you dont understand that,

if the line passes through (0,0) that means it is proportional
