6x - 2y = 2 -----*

9x - 3y = 1 -----**

Take * eqn

6x - 2y = 2

y = 6x - 2

2

y = 3x - 1 ------***

Take eqn *** substitute in eqn **

9x - 3(3x - 1) = 1

9x - 9x + 3 = 1

0x = -2

This equation has no solution since all values cancel each other. That is to substitute,or eliminate will result in 0 value of x or y and the graph won't intersect.

Answer:

look at the graphs in desmos. They are parallel. No solution because they do not intersect. Look at the result of the substitution method
