Mr. edwards loves collecting mason jars

He's currently has 40 mason jars, and gets 5
more each week
as whats an equation for this situation?
b.) How many mason jars will he have
after 7 more weels?
c.) How many weells will it take for
him to reach 100 mason jars?

Answer:

Within 7 weeks Mr. Edwards will no longer have 40 mason jars, he will have 75. It will take 12 weeks for Mr. Edwards to reach 100 mason jars.

Explanation:

For the first question, I said he'd have 75 because if you count up by fives 7 times starting at 40 you reach 75. If you continue to count by fives and count the amount of weeks it takes 12 weeks to reach 100. (If am wrong, please correct me, thank you!)

B. 75 (75=40 + 7*5)
