To expand 5(4x+7) your going to distribute 5 to both part in the parentheses so it would look like:


And then to factories 12a-6 , you have to think about the common factors of 12 and 6 and they have a common factor if 6 and 2 so we’re gonna use the 2 and write it in the equation, so it would look like:
