How do I verify this trig identity?

cot(x) + tan(x) = sec(x)csc(x)

Answer:

cot x = 1/ tan x

= 1 / tan x + tan x

= 1 + tan^2x / tan x

= sec^2x / tan x ( as sec^2x = 1+ tan^2x)

= sec x . 1/ cosx. cos x/ sin x

= sec x csc x
