• 
  `x {}^(2) - 3x + 2x - 6 = 0`

• 
  `x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) = 0`

• 
  `(x + 2)(x - 3) = 0`

there are two cases now,

Case - 1 - when (x + 2) = 0

• x = -2

Case - 2 - when (x - 3) = 0

• x = 3

so, the missing numbers to be filled in the boxes are :

• x = -2 and x = 3
