At a tree farm, there are 9 rows of 36 spruce trees. In each row, 14 of the spruce trees are blue spruce. How many spruce trees are not blue spruce?

Explanation:

In all, there are 324 trees. There are 126 blue spruce. Which means that there are 198 trees left.

There are two way to figure this out.

A.) 9 * 36 = 324

9 * 14 = 126

324 - 126 = 198

B.) 36 - 14 = 22

9 * 22 = 198
