We want our new equation to be parallel to y= 5x+2
So we have to use the same slope to find our new equation and it already gave us two points so we just plug it in.
Y - 1 = 5 ( x - (-2))
y-1 = 5 ( x + 2)
y -1 = 5x + 10
y -1 +1 = 5x + 10 + 1
