If p(x)=2x cubed-3x+5 what is the remainder p(x) divided by (x-5)

p(x) = quotient × (x-5) + remainder

From above equation remainder is obtained by putting x= 5 (can you see why?)

Thus remainder is p(5) which you can evaluate using a calculator.
