Answer:

y = 5x - 20

Explanation:

Find slope, and then y-intercept.

To find the slope, take the 2 points given and use the formula Y2 - Y1 over X2 - X1.

-5 - 5 over 5 - 7 = -10/-2 = 5

Slope is 5.

y = 5x + b --> b is the y-intercept

Plug in a point (I'll use 5,5)

5 = 5(5) + b

5 = 25 + b

b = -20

Equation would be y = 5x - 20

I hope this helped!

Answer:

y = -5x + 30

Explanation:

Since it follows the sequence of -5 per ( x ) then by finding the slope of the line, y2-y1 / x2-x1 = Slope we figure that -5 - 5 = -10 and 7 - 5 = 2. -10 / 2 = -5 ( The Slope ). Using that same number we can figure the input of the 5 other coordinates before (5,5) and (7,-5) . If we did so by adding 5 each time we go an input back ( -1 ) then we would find out that the y-intercept is on (0,30) which gives us our last piece of the equation ( + 30 ).

Note: Sorry typing the equations I don't really know how to draw them.
