Explain why the concept of surface tension is not applied to gases​

Answer:

Why surface tension concept is only held for liquids and not for gases which are also fliuds? ... Due to it, the force of cohesion in the gaas molecules are very small and these are quite large for liquids. Therefore, the concept of surface tension is applicable to liquid but not to gases.
