Explanation:

  • Perimeter of a rectangle: P = 2(l + w) OR P = 2(l) + 2(w)
  • length (l) = 9.5x + 10
  • width (w) = 7x - 9.5

P = 2(l + w)

P = 2(9.5x + 10) + 2(7x - 9.5)

P = 19x + 20 + 14x - 19

P = 19x + 14x + 20 - 19

P = 33x + 1
