okay so the difference between the two square numbers present here

the two square numbers present are -

  • 16, the square of 4
  • 64, the square of 8

(multiply 8 twice you'll get 64, same for 16)

so calculating their difference would be easy

= 64 - 16

= 48

b)

now, the difference between two cube numbers

the only cube numbers that exist in this series are 27 and 64 (once again)

  • 27 is the cube of 3
  • whereas, 64 is that of 4

(multiply 4 thrice you'll get 64)

now, calculating their difference

= 64 - 27

= 37

The two cubed numbers are 64 and 27

3 x 3 x 3 = 27

4 x 4 x 4 = 64

you take these two numbers and subtract them, making the difference 37
