Given:-

  • Hypotenuse = √65
  • Base = 4
  • Perpendicular = ?

Solution:-

By Pythagoras theorem


H ^(2) = P^(2) + B ^(2)


( √(65) ) ^(2) = P ^(2) + 4 ^(2)


65 = P^(2) + 16


P^(2) = 65 - 16


P^(2) = 49


P= √(49)


P = 7

  • Thus, The length of Perpendicular is 7..
