Answer:

Let x = length

Then width = (1/2)x

Perimeter = 2(length) + 2(width) = 54

length + width = 27

So, x + (1/2)x = 27

(3/2)x = 27

x = 27(2/3) = 18 (1/2)x = 9

Answer: length = 18 cm and width = 9 cm
