Answer:

A(x , y) = A( 1 , 3/2)

Explanation:

midpoint = M(-1, 2)

endpoint = B(3, -5)

find the start point = A(x, y)

equation :

x = m1 × x2 + m2 × x1 y = m1 × y2 + m2 × y1

_____________ _____________

m1 + m2 m1 + m2

x = (1 × 3) + (1 × -1) y = (1 × -5) + (1 × 2)

_____________ ____________

1 + 1 1 + 1

x = (3 - 1 )/ 2 = 2 / 2 = 1 y = (-5 + 2)/2 = 3/2

∴coordinates of A are (1, 3/2)

i think u should view this on a wider screen if ur using a phone <3
