Total area = 937.75

Explanation:

Area of triangles = ((b*h)/2) * 5

= (12*23/2) * 5

= 138 * 5

Area of triangles = 690

Area of pentagon = a² * √(25 + 10√5) / 4

= 12^2 * √(25 + 10√5) / 4

Area of pentagon = 247.75

Total area = Area of triangles + Area of pentagon

Total area = 937.75
