Answer:

see below

Explanation:

a. 5c²d³ x 2d multiply the whole numbers first which gives you

10c²d³d

Now you can combine the d variable. d is the same as d¹ so now you can add the exponents.

10c²d⁴

b. 64 x 4⁵ first convert 64 into a power of 4. 4 x 4 x 4 = 64 which is 4³

So now you have 4³ x 4⁵. Add the exponents together since the base number is the same (4). Answer is 4⁸. That is 4 to the 8th power if you can't see it.

c. p³ x (p⁵)² first take the last part. When raising the power of an exponent, you multiply the exponent by the power or 5 x 2. So that is now p¹⁰.

Now you have p³ x p¹⁰. The bases are the same so you add the exponents.

Answer is p¹³

(a) simplify 5c² d³×2d

10c²d⁴x

(b) write 64×4⁵ as a power of 4

64×4⁵=4⁸

(c) simplify p³×(p⁵)²

=3p¹¹×

I HOPE IT CAN HELP :)
