Answer:

(-3, 5) (0, 2) (5, -3)

Explanation:

To answer this all you need to do is plug in the numbers given for the domain in for x. So first, plug in -3 into the equation.

y = 2 - (-3)

y = 2 + 3

y = 5

When x is -3, y is equal to 5

Then plug in 5 for x

y = 2 - 5

y = -3

When x is 5, y is equal to -3

Also: when x is 0, y is equal to 2, so that answer you got right.

Answer:

5 and - 3

Explanation:

In the first box it says x is - 3

Y=2-x

So we subsitute the numbers

-3 goes in the place of x so it will read....

Y=2- - 3

A minus and a minus make a positive so you add 2 and 3 to make 5

The first box is 5

Second box

The last box you do the same thing. Put 5 in the place of x in the equation:

Y=2-x

So it will read....

Y=2-5

So it will be...

Y=-3

Plotting on the graph

Now all you need to do is plot them on the axis

The x column will be x and the y column will be for y

Eg your first answer is (-3,5)
