Yes because it can cause a heat stroke when the body temperature is to high and it may suffer and go into shock

In Conclusion, when the body's temperature rises too high. It can cause the heart, liver, kidney, and brain to shut down. A dog who experiences heatstroke can go into shock and may suffer irreversible organ damage.
