Answer: y = ³/₄

Explanation:

The slope (m) of this line = (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

= (³/₄ - ³/₄) ÷ (5 - 2)

= 0

and we can understand why this is the case (the y value remains the same from one point to the next.

We can now use the point-slope form to write the equation for this line:

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y - ³/₄ = 0 (x - 2)

y = ³/₄
