If sum of two adjacent is 180, then they are linear pair

∠CAT = 30

∠CAT + ∠TAD = 180

30 + 2x + 5 = 180

2x + 30 = 180

Subtract 30 from both sides

2x = 180 - 30

2x = 150

Divide both sides by 2

x = 150/2

x = 75°
