Mistake #1 A highly populated state like Vir ginia had the same amount of power as a small state like Delaware.
Mistake #2 All 13 states needed to agree if there would be any changes to the Articles. This meant solving problems would be almost impossible.
Mistake #3 The states had freedom to act the way they wanted. Most states acted in ways that would only benefit themselves.
Mistake#4 The national government couldn’t raise taxes they could only ask for money. Without money they could do nothing to fix economic problems.
Mistake #5 Poor farmers were upset with the Massachusetts government and tried to overthrow it. That national government couldn’t do anything to stop the farmers.
