A can of frozen lemonade concentrate has a height of 5.05 inches and a radius of 1.8 inches. A can of frozen fruit juice has a height of 5.2 inches and a radius of 1.4 inches. Both cans have paper labels that cover the lateral area. Is more paper needed to make the label on the lemonade can or the fruit juice can?

Answer:

Lateral surface area = 2πrh

Thus solve for the lemonade and the fruit juice can.

If you want then convert the inches to metres.
