Right now in school we are studying positive and negative numbers and how to do them with procedures. I can’t figure out the problem “-1/3 + (-7/4)”, it would be a great help if someone could help me.

Answer:

17/12

Explanation:

-1/3 = -4/12

-7/4 = -21/12 0r -1 -9/12

-4/12 --21/12 = 17/12
