Start off with the original problem, since there is x^2 at the top and x at the bottom you will cross both x’s and you will only have one x left at the top, for the y’all since you have y^3 at the top and one y at the bottom you will cross both y’all and you will only have y^2 left at the top. So the answer will be 4xy^2.
