Answer:

So he had 35 dollars to spend and he used 10 so he only has 25 left, each pack of gum cost 2, so there trying to figure out how many pack of gum could he buy with is money so to do that all you have to do is take 25 and divide it by 2 and you would get 12.5 but you can buy half of a pack of gum so just 12 pack he could only buy 12 packs.

35-10=25

25/2=12

answers he could buy 12 packs of gum.
