Answer:

950°C

Explanation:

1725°F, Right?

Use 5/9(F - 32), and you get 941°C

Therefore, 950°C is correct

Answer: Scientist two with 950C has recorded a higher temperature. We will convert all units to degree Celcius in order to be able to compare the values.

We are given the following relation:

T(°C) = (T(°F) - 32) × 5/9

Therefore:

Scientist 1 records a temperature of 1725 degree Fahrenheit which is equivalent to:

T(°C) = (1725 - 32) × 5/9 = 940.556 degrees celcius

Scientist 2 records a temperature of 950 degrees celcius.

By comparing the values, we will find that the temperature measured by scientist 2 has a greater value.

I hope this helped, comment if it did!
