Answer:
y= -6
Explanation:
Distance=Top-Bottom
When I say Top-Bottom I mean you only deal with y values
D=2-y
Distance is given as 8
Therefore 8=2-y
8-2=-y
6= -y
we divide by -1 both side
6/-1 = -y/-1
-6 = y
Therefore y = -6
