Answer: 19.87% (about 20%), or 1/5 (0.2) of the employees were injured.

Step-by-step explanation:

First, in order to find the percentage, it is necessary to divide the smaller number by the bigger number. This gives us 0.1987. In order to find out how many out of a hundred there are, multiply by 100 and get 19.87%.

(63)/(317) = 0.1987\\\\0.1987 *100= 19.87\\\\

From 19.87%, we can say that 19.87% is approximate to 20%. 20% is the same as 0.2, or 1/5.

19.87% ≈ 20%

20% = 0.2

0.2 = 1/5

Hope this helps! =)
