For the first option it is not a local minimum but rather a local maximum

In the second interval 3.4,-8 is the smallest value in that interval, so that's true

The same applies with the next interval

The fourth interval 1,4 has a local max at two spots; 2,0, 4,0 so that's true

and lastly in this interval 3,5 the reason this is false is because after x=4 the

graph continues and 4,0 is not a local max as the range ends at x=5
