The reason it is like √2/4 is because 1/2 and 1/2 are the same so you just add them

To complete it we know that 4 is a perfect square

and it can be divided by 2


\sqrt{ (2)/(4) } \\ = ( √(2) )/(2)

The reason why the two is left like that is because is not a perfect square
