Answer:

The answer is d

( √(2) )/(2)

Explanation:

\sqrt{ (1)/(2) } + \sqrt{ (1)/(2) } \\ = \sqrt{ (2)/(4) }

The reason it is like √2/4 is because 1/2 and 1/2 are the same so you just add them

To complete it we know that 4 is a perfect square

and it can be divided by 2

\sqrt{ (2)/(4) } \\ = ( √(2) )/(2)

The reason why the two is left like that is because is not a perfect square

Hope this helps

Answer:

C

Explanation:

(1)/(√(2) ) +
(1)/(√(2) )

=
(2)/(√(2) ) ( multiply numerator/ denominator by
√(2) to rationalise the denominator )

=
(2(√(2)) )/(√(2)(√(2)) )

=
(2√(2) )/(2)

=
√(2) → C
