Review the reasons for the US involvement in WWI. Write a paragraph that explains the main reasons the United States joined the fighting in this world war. Evaluate the validity of those reasons, and give your opinion on whether they justified the US decision to go to war. The United states desperately tried to remain neutral in WW1, however their alliance to Britian and the U.S ties to helping British propaganda were a problem. U.S trade ships carrying military equipment or not were sunk in a German U-Boat blockade, Germany also sent the Zimmermann telegraph which called for Mexico to go to war against the United States. However the U.S intercepted this telegraph and got a heads up on what might've happened.

(Mexico declined as they were in a civil war and Germany's promise of financial support were probably too good to be true)
