Answer:
Martha had to maje a difficult division on whether she can have a scholarship jacket she a wanted or not. Martha had the choice of either paying $15 for a scholarship jacket she worked hard for or not getting it at all. On page 1 paragraph 2 it states Martha sister received a scholarship jacket few years ago not only that but Martha has had straight A's since the first grade which meant she was qualified for the scholarship jacket. However on page 1 paragraph 5 a teacher didn't want to give Martha the jacket because she was Mexican; because of that the school board decided the jacket will cost $15. On page 2 paragraph 2 the principal told Martha "and if you don't pay $15 would be passed on to the person in waiting." Martha asked her grandpa and he said no she then relayed the message to her principal. Due to that decision it showed Martha was strong because she really wanted that jacket. Yet she gave it up for justice.
