So we know that there are 21 players out of a total amount of people in a club who play basketball. So lets say the total amount of people who are in the club is x then we do


(21)/(100) *x=21

we got the
(21)/(100) becasue any percent is over 100 and that time the total ammount is 21 which is the number of people.

Then we solve and we have to isolate the x


x=21*(100)/(12)

then we cross cancle and we get
x=175

so the answer is d
